This study examined the relationship between work life balance and employee commitment in indigenous oil servicing companies Rivers State. The adopted a cross-sectional research survey design. Primary source was generated through self- administered questionnaire. population of is 270 employees twenty-four (24) selected sample size 161 determined using Taro Yamane’s formula for determination. reliability instrument achieved by use Cronbach Alpha coefficient with all items scoring above 0.70 selected. hypotheses were tested Spearman’s Rank Order Correlation Coefficient. results analysed data revealed that there significant environment thus concludes significantly influences Therefore, recommends should adopt policies encourage practices such as flexible arrangements, family responsibilities support, wellness programs. considerations childcare, dependent care allowing more time their families which are issues characterize employee’s role at home be encouraged.
